A visitor visa can be filed for if you intend to travel to Australia for vacation or business purposes.

You can stay in Australia for up to 12 months on a visiting visa.
Certain visitor visas are valid for six, three, or even twelve months.

  • If you’re travelling to Australia for business, you’ll need to show proof of the business activities you’ll be doing.
  • Under the Sponsored Family Stream, an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or Eligible New Zealand family member or relative may be able to sponsor you.
