EMPLOYER NOMINATION SCHEME (186, 187)
The 186 Employer Nomination Scheme has three streams (TRTS).
The 186 visa allows you to stay in the United States indefinitely.
Please keep in mind that the 187 Temporary Residence Transition Stream is only available for a limited time.
The qualifications are the same as for the 186 Temporary Residence Transition Stream, with the exception that the job and business must be located in a regional area, and there are no nomination costs for the 187 TRTS.
The 187 Direct Entry programme is now closed, and the subclass 494 visa has taken its place.
The streams are as follows:
- Temporary Residence Transition Stream – This stream is for 457/482 holders who have worked in Australia for three years on a 457/482 and then want to apply for permanent residency.
- Direct Entry Stream – For those with a positive skills evaluation and three years of full-time work experience.
- Labor Agreement – This option is only accessible in rare cases where the applicant is sponsored through a labour agreement.
The age, English, and other conditions will all be specified in the Labour Agreement.
